These terms govern your use of zhongyitang.art, operated by Zhongyi Tang ("we", "us"), a company registered in the People's Republic of China. By using the site you accept them.
This site is a catalogue presenting works by Chinese master craftsmen, together with documentation of their makers, materials and provenance. It is published for information. It is not a shop, and nothing on it constitutes a binding offer to sell.
Prices are not published on this site. Works are shown as "price upon request". Any price, availability or delivery information given in response to an enquiry is an invitation to discuss and is subject to written confirmation by us. Works may be exhibited, reserved or sold through other channels at any time.
Every work presented here is made by hand. Where a work exists in an edition, individual pieces within that edition differ slightly in enamel shading, wire work and surface, because these are properties of the techniques themselves rather than defects. Photographs are taken under studio lighting and colour may render differently on your screen. Where a specific physical piece is offered, it is photographed individually and the piece you receive is the piece photographed.
Works may incorporate precious metals, gemstones, hardwoods and other regulated materials. Their export from China and import into your country may be subject to customs formalities, duties and, in the case of certain materials, to international conservation controls including CITES. Any sale is conditional on compliance with the applicable rules in both jurisdictions. We declare materials accurately and identically for listing, customs and insurance purposes.
The text, photographs, translations and design of this site are protected by copyright and belong to us or to the respective masters and rights holders. Works depicted are the creations of the named masters. You may view and share links to these pages. You may not reproduce the photographs or translated catalogue texts commercially, or present them as your own, without our written permission. Press and institutional requests are welcome at the address below.
We take care that descriptions, dimensions, materials, dates and provenance are correct, and we correct errors when we find them. Details of historical records are presented as documented by their sources.
Where we link to other sites, we do not control them and are not responsible for their content.
The site is provided as it is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.
We may revise these terms; the current version is always the one posted here.
