This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what rights you have. It applies to zhongyitang.art, operated by Zhongyi Tang ("we", "us"), a company registered in the People's Republic of China.
This is a catalogue website. It has no user accounts, no shopping cart and no payment processing. We do not ask you to create a profile, and we do not sell, rent or trade personal information to anyone.
When you choose a display language, that choice is saved in your own browser's local storage under the key
zyt_lang, so that the site opens in the same language next time. This information stays on your device,
is never transmitted to us, and can be removed at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. If we introduce website analytics in future, this page will be updated before that happens and, where required by law, consent will be requested.
If you contact us by email, we receive the address you write from and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it only to answer your enquiry and to keep a record of our correspondence with you. Enquiry correspondence is retained for as long as needed for the enquiry and for our ordinary business and accounting records, then deleted.
Our hosting and content delivery provider records standard technical data such as IP address, request time, requested page and browser type, in order to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. These are ordinary server records and we do not use them to identify individual visitors.
We are based in the People's Republic of China and our site is delivered through a global content delivery network. If you contact us, your message will be received and stored in that context.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to complain to your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these, write to gallery@zhongyitang.art. We will respond within one month.
This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
